Who we are
Ring Holders Club is a browser-based NBA roguelike fan game at ringholders.club. We are not affiliated with the NBA or any of its teams.
Data we collect
- Session cookie (
rh_session): an httpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in to an anonymous player account. - Gameplay data: completed run summaries, display names, and daily leaderboard entries stored in our database when you play while signed in.
- Recovery codes: if you claim an account on another device, you use a code you chose — we store only a hashed version.
- Analytics: in production we use Vercel Analytics to understand traffic and performance (aggregated, first-party).
- Advertising cookies: when Google AdSense is enabled and you accept non-essential cookies, Google may set cookies to serve and measure ads. See How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.
How we use data
We use this information to run the game, persist your history and leaderboard standing, improve the site, and (if you consent) show ads. We do not sell your personal data.

Ring Holders Club is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
